How to Play

Draw/Discard

  • Until you have a valid hand to declare, you must Draw and Discard a card with every turn.
  • You can do so, by drawing a card from either the closed deck or the discard pile.

Rummy Rule : A card drawn from the discard pile cannot be laid off in the same turn.

Joker (wild card):

The Joker is kept, face up, under the closed deck. It serves as a wild card and can be used anywhere to help players complete their Sequences or Sets.

Rummy Rule : It cannot be drawn from the discarded pile of cards.

Tips :

  • Pick a card from the discard pile only if it is of use to you, otherwise always draw a card from the closed deck.
  • Discard higher value cards first.
  • Utilize time in between turns to arrange/ re-arrange your cards.

Declare and Discard

  • Once you have finalised your melds and believe you have a valid hand to Declare, with the last card that you lay off, select Declare & Discard.
  • This also indicates to the other players that the hand has come to an end.

Create valid melds and declare your hand before other players, to win.

  • Four melds need to be created of 4, 3, 3, 3 cards each.
  • Melds must either be :

Sequences 3 or more consecutive cards of the same suit Sets 3 or more cards of the same rank in different suits

Notes

  • Make sure, in each group, your sequences are always in ascending order (left to right) for them to be considered valid.

  • For a hand to be considered valid, one sequence (whether 3 or 4 cards) is compulsory and it must be made without the use of a Joker.
  • Tap on a card to drag it across the screen and place it in a group of your choice or use the Add Here button on the screen.

Melding

  • At the end of each hand you are given some time to sort your cards in such a manner so as to minimize the amount of chips that you stand to lose at the end of a hand.
