Calldorado Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy

  1. Preamble

    This Privacy Policy illustrates what personal information a user may share with Calldorado ApS, Company registration number: DK37614904, business address: Bagsvaerdvej 84, 2800 Kongens Lyngby, Denmark (“Calldorado” or “we”) when installing, running and using Calldorado’s applications and Caller ID technology (collectively “Services”). It also describes how the Company receives, collects and uses this data. In reference to all data received from the identified persons using the Services (“User”), the Company will diligently respect the User’s fundamental legal right to data protection and privacy.

  2. Reception and Collection of Information

    It is necessary to collect some technical information (e.g. IP-address, device ID number etc.) from the User’s device so that the Services can be provided to the User. This collected information is required for Calldorado to verify that the device of the User is accurately registered. Calldorado reserves the right to use this collected data for statistics and user support without restrictions regarding applicability in time.

    Calldorado accesses and processes phone numbers of in, and outgoing calls, duration of calls, the User’s location, device information, contacts lists and the User’s interactions with Advertising. Calldorado uses the advertising identifier for purposes of advertising and user analytics. Calldorado commits itself to the terms of the Google Play Developer Program Policies. The advertising identifier will only be connected to personally-identifiable information or associated with any persistent device identifier (for example: SSAID, MAC address, IMEI, etc.), when the User expressly gives consent.

    Calldorado uses cookies, third party cookieis and device identifiers to personalise content and advertising, to ensure that we give you the best user experience, to provide social media features and to analyse our traffic. We also share such identifiers and other information from your device with our social media, advertising and analytics partners. When you click on ads delivered via our products and services, you will typically be directed to a third party’s web page or app and we may pass certain of your information to the third parties operating or hosting these pages or apps including device ID, IP address and a list of the apps on your device.     Whenever a User establishes a profile, mandatory information includes the User’s whole name (first and last name) and their mobile telephone number. Additional information may be provided by the User. The User may provide Calldorado with information concerning their use of third party services (e.g. Google, Facebook etc). This is required for Calldorado’s Services to interact with the above mentioned third party services. Calldorado will use information concerning third party services only for the purpose of interaction between its own Services and the service of third parties.

    The User is responsible for any content and information uploaded to and displayed in their User account and User profile. Information provided in the User profile will be received and stored by Calldorado until this information is changed or deleted by the User.

    Calldorado will store any telephone number and User ID of a User, if the telephone number of this User has been reported as spam in order to maintain the User’s spam list online.

  3. Transfer of data

    For us to be able to deliver the Services to you, we use third party sub-suppliers, to whom we may transfer data. Our sub-suppliers have all guaranteed that they will live up to the terms of this privacy policy, including ensuring safe-keeping of your personal data. With your acceptance of this Privacy Policy and by using the Services, you agree to the processing of your data in the form of a transfer to third parties.

    All of our sub-suppliers reserve the right to use the transferred information for statistics and user support without restrictions regarding applicability in time.

    Please note that we may also disclose information associated with you as well as contact information to third parties if required by law, in order to protect or defend our own rights.

  4. User and Contact Information

    Calldorado will use information associated with the User or contact information to display the names related to a certain telephone number. Furthermore this information may be used to provide a newsletter service and for marketing purposes as well as to send e-mails for advertising purposes if the User has agreed according to the applicable legal requirements.

    Calldorado may disclose information associated with the User as well as contact information if required by law, in order to protect or defend the rights of Calldorado. Calldorado is also authorized to provide this information to agents, who require it for contractual service and who have signed a respective confidentiality agreement with Calldorado. The User fully agrees to these proceedings.

  5. Change of Privacy Policy

    Calldorado is permitted to change this Privacy Policy at any time. The User is therefore advised to review the Privacy Policy of Calldorado in regular terms. In case of major changes the User will be informed about these changes by Calldorado.

  6. Miscellaneous

    In compliance with the applicable legal regulations, Calldorado will undertake any reasonable measures to ensure data security. Although Calldorado is not able to assure that the User’s information, contact information and other content will not be subject to unauthorized access, unauthorized use or abuse.

    In this context, Calldorado will observe the following in consideration of the state of appropriate technical possibilities:

    1. Calldorado will ensure that only authorized persons receive access to the data for legally permissible purposes. These persons are contractually obliged to comply with the principles of security and confidentiality

    2. Calldorado will protect stored or transmitted data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss or unintended changes and unauthorized or unlawful storage or processing, unauthorized access or unauthorized or unlawful transmission

    3. Calldorado will comply with all applicable data protection provisions, including section 5 of the Danish Act on Personal Data.

    The Calldorado Services are not intended for or designed to attract anyone under the age of 18. To the best knowledge of Calldorado, the company is not collecting information of minors (under the age of 18).

    This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Danish law without regard to its conflict of law provisions. In the event that any of the provisions of this Privacy Policy should become ineffective, invalid or unenforceable, this shall not affect the effectiveness, validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions. In the event of the ineffectiveness, invalidity or unenforceability of any of these provisions, the parties have agreed to substitute such by an effective, valid and enforceable provision which is, in its economic result, as close as possible to the ineffective, invalid or unenforceable provision.

  7. Opt-out from data collection and inquiries

    Users can opt-out of all information collection by disabling the Caller ID function in the settings.

    Users have the right to ask Calldorado not to continue the processing of personal data. Users can exercise their rights to prevent processing by contacting Calldorado at support@calldorado.com.

    The Services may present and contain links to and from the websites of partners and affiliates. If you follow a link to any third-party websites, please note that these websites have their own privacy policies and that Calldorado do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies. A User is asked to check such policies before submitting any personal data to such websites.

Crash Reporting Data


This service collects crash reporting data from your application to improve it's quality. The data collected is only used to inform us of any crashes in your application in order for us to analyze reasons for the error and fix any issues in future updates. It does not in any way identify users or collect any personal information.

EULA - End User License Agreement

for the Caller Identification Service of Calldorado ApS

  1. Preamble

    This End User License Agreement (“Agreement“) governs your use of the Caller Identification Service (“Service“) owned and operated by Calldorado ApS, Danish company registration number DK37614904 business address: Bagsvaerdvej 84, 2800 Kongens Lyngby, Denmark (”Calldorado“, ”we“ or ”us“).

  2. Service Description

    Our Service provides you with free Caller Identification during phone calls and/or after you have made or received a phone call. As part of the Service we serve advertisements (“Advertisement“) on Caller Identification screens.

    Our Service may be included in certain third-party applications (“Application“) that you have installed. You will be notified if an Application includes our Service, so that you can decide whether to use the service or not. You can at any time adjust your Caller Identification preferences and enable or disable the Service in the settings. You can access the settings from every Caller Identification screen.

    By using the Service you expressly state that you fully accept the terms and conditions of this Agreement and any other terms and conditions which are incorporated herein by reference. If you do not fully accept the terms and conditions of this Agreement, you cannot use our Service.

  3. License

    Calldorado gives you the non-exclusive and not transferable right to access and to use the Service in connection with installing the Application.

    You may only use the Service for your personal use. The access to the Service as well as the use of the Service will only be given on the basis and after the unconditional acceptance of the terms and conditions of this Agreement and any other terms and conditions which are incorporated herein by reference. Other rights regarding the Service on whatever legal basis are not granted.

    You are not entitled (i) to use the Service for commercial purposes or (ii) to grant, transfer, sell, lend or make available in any manner any rights regarding the Service to third parties. Granting sublicenses is also not allowed. You are not entitled to store or install a copy of the Service.

  4. Proprietary Rights

    You herewith confirm that you are aware that Calldorado is the exclusive owner of the Service as well as of all and any rights connected thereto, especially property rights and copyrights.

  5. Collection of Information

    In order to provide you with the Service we may access your mobile device and gather certain information. To see what information you share with Calldorado and how this information may be used by Calldorado, please see Calldorado’s Privacy Policy.

    If you do not wish to use the Caller Identification Service, or if you do not want to receive Advertisements from Calldorado, or if you want to disable Calldorado’s access to your device, you can terminate the Service by disabling it in the settings of the Service at any time. You can access the settings from every Caller Identification screen.

  6. Advertisement

    The Advertising displayed on the Caller Identification screens complies with the Google’s guidelines for content rating and reflects the maturity rating of the Application in which our Service is included. Calldorado excludes sensitive categories including but not limited to advertisement containing gambling or sexually explicit content, violence and bullying or “hate speeches” via the Service. Calldorado does not have full control on advertisements and makes no representation or warranties of any kind regarding the content of the advertisements. Calldorado is not liable in any manner or any case for advertisements. Even in case of errors or by accident, Calldorado is not liable for advertisements even if regarding sensitive content.

  7. Scope of Liability and Warranty, Indemnification

    Calldorado shall not be liable for damage, unless it was caused by Calldorado or its representatives with willful or gross negligence. Any liability for personal injuries shall remain unaffected thereby. Any liability for third-party damages, consequential damages and loss of profits shall be excluded. Calldorado shall not be liable for the content of the data transmitted and the content of data that may be accessed via the Service.

    Calldorado will also not be liable in any way for network related problems.

    Calldorado operates the Service with utmost care, reliability and availability. However, Calldorado does not warrant that the Service will be available without interruption, that the desired connections can be established at all times or that the information transmitted is always correct, accurate and complete.

    Calldorado makes no representation that the Service is available to you in any particular location. You are obliged to comply with all legal or contractual obligations and shall hold Calldorado harmless to this regard.

    You agree to indemnify, hold harmless and defend Calldorado and all related persons, entities, agents etc. from and against any action, claim, demand, dispute or liability arising from or relating to any negligence or willful misconduct of you or related persons, entities, agents etc., your breach of this agreement, any allegation that the application infringes a third party´s copyright or any intellectual property right or any misrepresentation of you.

    You confirm, that you agree that Calldorado shall have the unrestricted right to participate in the defence in any of the above mentioned cases through counsel of his own choice.

    Should the restrictions of the warranty and liability of Calldorado be in breach of mandatory statutory provisions, all warranty and liability obligations shall, in terms of scope, be reduced to the statutorily admissible minimum extent.

  8. Termination

    You are entitled to terminate this Agreement at any time by disabling the Service in the settings. You can access the Service from every Caller Identification screen.

    Calldorado is entitled to terminate your right of usage of the Service at any time without cause with or without advance notice.

    The right of usage will automatically end if you violate or fail to comply with the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

  9. Miscellaneous

    Calldorado reserves the right to freely assign and transfer the rights and duties under these terms and conditions to any third party.

    All amendments and supplements to the license terms shall be made in writing. The same shall apply to any deviation from this requirement of form.

    Should any provisions of this agreement be or become ineffective, invalid or unenforceable, this shall not affect the effectiveness, validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions. In the case of ineffectiveness, invalidity or unenforceability of any of these provisions, a provision which is neither ineffective, nor invalid or unenforceable and which in its economic result comes closest to the provision to be replaced shall be agreed upon between the parties to this agreement.

    The local city court of your local jurisdiction shall have jurisdiction regarding any disputes; applicability of your local law shall be deemed agreed and CISG and the conflict of laws rules of private international law shall be excluded.
