Storage
(SD card)

Snap needs storage when you share your history data with applications like GMail or Google Docs.

Network communication
(Internet, network state, Wi-Fi state)

Snap uses the Internet to check the reputation of Web sites with the Norton Safe Web server. Network and Wi-Fi state permissions are used to see if the device has an Internet connection.

Hardware controls
(camera, flash, vibrate)

Snap uses your camera as a barcode scanner. You can manually turn on the camera's flash for scanning barcodes in low-light situations. It can also vibrate to let you know when it captured the barcode correctly.

Phone calls
(phone state and identity)

Device state and identity are used for Norton Community Watch submissions. Snap does not use any phone calling functions.
