On the map you can see the observations submitted by users of the WarnWetter-App for certain phases of plant development (= stages). These are basically differentiated according to stage (symbol) and temporal classification in comparison to the multi-year average (color). On the right edge, it is possible to filter according to different stages. At the top of the map, a legend can be displayed or hidden. By the round photo button (bottom left) you can filter for messages with pictures.
By dragging the map with two fingers, a spatially more detailed representation is made possible. Tapping the symbols leads to the display of the detailed message. If observations are very close together, the messages in question are fanned out with one click and can then be selected with a second click.
Messages with photos: By tapping on the check mark in the photo, you rate it as helpful. By tapping on the entire image, you will see an enlarged view.
User messages do not represent official messages or warnings. The DWD carries out a technical check as well as a plausibility check, but does not guarantee the correctness of the user messages. Messages objected to by the automatic check are not visible on the map for other users. If a message is obviously incorrect or the content is offensive, the corresponding message can be marked via the link Report problem (in the detailed view). The message in question will then be checked again by quality assurance and, if necessary, hidden.
By default, the messages of the last days are displayed. This is marked in color on the lower time bar. By moving the time bar, another time window can be selected.
You can enter your own messages using the orange Enter message button. More information about this can be found in the info text of the message dialog.
More information about the plant messages in the WarnWetter-App can be found on the DWD Website (in German)
