Data and Privacy Policy
Thank you for using MyShiftPlanner.
In the process of using the app, we will collect data from you and your device to enable us to provide the level of support and functionality you require. However, we treat your data as confidential at all times and will only use it for the purpose intended.
This document is used to inform you of what data is captured, how it will be used and why we are collecting it.
We hope you find this to be acceptable but if not, please refrain from using those features – or the entire app – as appropriate.
If you choose to use our Service or app, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service.
We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
Information Collection and Use
For a better experience, while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to first name, last name, email address. The information that we request will be retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy.
By default, we do not require any personally identifiable information from you to use the basic functionality of the app. However, any features that utilise a MyShiftPlanner Cloud Account require as a minimum, a real email address (to which you have access).
If using features of the app that share your details with another person (for example, the live sharing feature), you agree to accept full responsibility for the data being shared and who its sent to. We cannot be held responsible for any breach, loss or misuse of your data is shared using the Live Sharing feature.
To avoid problems, we highly recommend checking the email address for the intended recipient before sharing your calendar or other data to them.
Marketing and Communication
All data we collect, and that you provide, will never be sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
If you have opted to receive information from us via the app, we may, from time to time, contact you with relevant MyShiftPlanner or shift related information we believe may be of interest. We will never contact you with irrelevant information.
One of our communications is for the Shift Thinking newsletter published by us. If you have opted in to receive communication from us, then we will send this to you when available. You can opt out of receiving this newsletter by using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of this email, at which point we will remove you from the mailing list for the newsletter. Directly unsubscribing from the newsletter will NOT automatically opt you out of receiving other communications.
If you prefer not to be contacted by us at all, you can use the Marketing option in the User Profile section of the app to opt out, or contact our support team who will be happy to do this for you.
If you choose to contact our support team, we reserve the right to contact you in order to help resolve your issue. This may include sending links to relevant articles, images or advice from third parties in order to facilitate the support incident.
Log Data and Monitoring
Usage of the app is logged and recorded on our servers for the purpose of security, performance monitoring and to allow us to provide support services to you.
Errors generated by the app are also recorded on our servers in order to provide suitable support, maintenance and response to problems.
In both cases, the Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, app version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.
Service Providers
We employ trusted third-parties due to the following reasons:
- To facilitate our Service to you;
- To provide part or all of our Service to you on our behalf;
- To perform Service-related services; or
- To assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.
We want to inform users of this Service that some of these third parties have access to part or all of your Personal Information stored by us.
However, third parties are only provided with access to your data on a 'strictly needed' basis, and limited to only the specific data required at that time. All third parties are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose than that permitted by MyBuzz Technologies Ltd.
Security
We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Your data is only as secure as the password used for your MyShiftPlanner account, so it is your responsibility to keep this password safe and not to disclose it to anyone else.
If you believe your password or account has been compromised, then you can either reset your password directly from within the User Profile section of the app, or contact our support team for assistance.
We can't be held responsible for any breach or loss of personal data from your device as the result of theft, loss or damage to your device. Therefore we recommend using the built-in security mechanisms provided with your mobile device to ensure it remains secure, and regular backups through the MyShiftPlanner Account to allow you to recover your data in the event of loss.

This Service may contain links to other sites, or to third party adverts that we do not directly control. If you click on a third-party link or advert, you will be directed to that site.
Note that these external sites are not operated by us. Therefore, we strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites before continuing to use them or before providing them with any personal data. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.
Any issues with those third party services must be raised directly with the third party.
Children’s Privacy
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy onto our website and as an update within the app. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
Your Right to Be Removed
If you choose to stop using MyShiftPlanner, deleting the app will not automatically remove your account details, backups or profile information we have stored on our servers related to you.
You have the right to request that all details we store about you that is personally identifiable are removed. To request this, do so by contacting us directly with a formal request and we will endeavour to complete this request within 16 working hours of receipt of the request.
However, if you choose to continue to use the app after the removal request has been completed, details will continue to be collected and a new removal request may be required in future.
